HELLO I’M BACK WITH MORE CHRONICLE PAMPHLET TRANSLATIONS
Life has been more chaotic than I expected so that is why I’ve been MIA but Super Live and Chronicle DVD have summoned me to do more translations! This time it’s the cast introduction and a small Q&A! First is the Inners + Chibi Moon! Outers and the rest of the cast will be translated at a later date lol

Q: What do you remember of being selected to be part of the Sailor Moon musicals?
When I heard that I was cast as Sailor Moon, it felt really unbelievable. But then due to corona, I had to wait a year before that news could be shared so it didn’t feel very real at all. But finally when i went to costume fitting, I really got the feeling that I have become Sailor Moon.
Q: If you ever have to fight villains like Sailor Moon and her friends, what would be your fighting style?
Manipulating thunder like Sailor Jupiter, making them feel so much regret that it’ll leave them numb lol. Supreme Thunder!!! And I also yearn to fight with huge items like Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn!
Q: A few words about the character you play.
She is clumsy but also strong, energetic, honest and a very hardworking girl. I will always admire her. I’m really happy to play character who is loved by many people! I will do my best for Sera Myu Fes(Chronicle) as well!!

Has appeared in commericials since she was 6 years old, such as Pokemon and others. She was won an ACC from her radio commercial Morinaga in-Jelly. She has also appeared in movies and played the role of a heroine’s childhood self. She has been more active as an actress since high school and has appeared in many performances, such as …from the moonlight ~A Delivery from the Moon~ and others.

I was trying to decide which photo to use for this series next, then I realized Rei’s birthday is tomorrow (April 17), so that made the decision easy 😆

Sailor Moon 30th Musical Festival -Chronicle- Senshuuraku Reaction & Review Part 1
Introduction
Key terms: Myu - a general term I will be using for musicals. Sera Myu Chronicle - The term I will be using for Sailor Moon 30th Musical Festival -Chronicle- Sera Myu - Sailor Moon Musical Banmyu - a fan made term for the run of musicals from 1993-2005 produced and sponsored by Bandai. NelkeMyu - a fan made term for the run of musicals from 2013-2017 produced by Nelke Planning and Dwango. NogiMyu - A fan-made term for the 2018 and 2019 released musicals featuring cast from the idol group, Nogizaka46. KaguMyu - The term I will be using for Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Musical -Kaguya Hime’s Beloved- (2021). Senshuuraku - the final day of a performance. Sea of Serenity - fansite dedicated to providing as highly accurate information and translations of the popular Sailor Moon meta-series as possible.
Recently Sera Myu fans have been blessed with a music festival in honor of the 30 year celebration of the Sailor Moon Musicals! 8 full performances showcasing the nostalgia and the love of the musicals from one of the most beloved anime/manga series created by Naoko Takeuchi: Sailor Moon. These performances occurred from Nov. 17- Nov. 20, 2022 all with the same story line along with special guests from previous actresses from Banmyu to KaguMyu and the wonderful and the amazing Akiko Kosaka(Twitter) who has written several songs for the anime as well as songs and background music for the musicals. A list of the actresses can be found here: Sailor Moon News Network with the exception of Meiku Harikawa who had to miss the last day due to health.Here is also a wonderfully created visual layout of the performance scheduleby @landofanimes .
Before I start my review, I would like to give a huge shout out to the absolute GOAT @crazykacey for providing not only access to the livestream of Sera Myu Chronicle but audio recordings from the performances as well. @crazykacey also provided a plot summary for those who are interestedwhich can be found herealong with an English translation of the musical numbers in the pamphlet! I would also like to give thanks to Sea of Serenity’s @britchan for recording and uploading the last two performances!

Anyways..
I was able to watch the Sera Myu Chronicle together with so many Sera Myu fans. It was amazing to enjoy it with others in the Sea of Serenity Discord. If you haven’t checked out yet, please do! There is a wonderful and supportive community there for all of Sailor Moon! The link can be found in the Sea of Serenity website. It truly made the experience magical as we all fangirled and cried over the entire performance.
This is my first review I’ve ever written so please bear with me if I get anything wrong, especially any details regarding the Myus. I may be a fan but my knowledge isn’t as vast as compared to the many dedicated and devoted fans in the Sera Myu fandom. Keep in mind, my thoughts and opinions may not be in line with others as this is a subjective review with a hint of objectivity since I’ll reference some Myus in the past. If you do not agree, I respect that. If you do decide to comment on this review, please do so in a respectful way that isn’t hateful towards myself, the fandom, or even the performers.
Coming back to this introduction, I will most likely have to break this review into 2 maybe 3 parts because it is LONG. Please look forward to the other parts in the following days.
Okay so I wrote some sort of summary of the plot of Sera Myu Chronicle. I might have already forgotten some things and such and my grammar sucks cause it’s super late so yeah AND SPOILERS!!! DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT SPOILERS
Small update/check in. I’m so very sorry it’s been forever since I’ve updated our Tumblr. I’m also sincerely sorry for having missed any asks or questions sent our way. Apparently I haven’t been getting the email notifications like I used to, but I think I’ve figured that issue out and should be able to get those from now on.
As far as future projects and updates go, the site is essentially on an indefinite hiatus in terms of future projects or translations. If we have time and are able to do new things, we certainly will! However currently with mine and Akiko’s personal lives and other commitments we have, we do not have the time to dedicate to translations and site updates like we used to.
That said, SeaofSerenity.net isn’t going anywhere! I planned for the site to eventually be a static site that will be around as long as I’m around (and I hope to have a successor plan down the road but that’s a long time from now to think about) for those to have access to our fan translations.
